Sylvester Stallone was born on 6 July 1946 in New York, USA.
Stallone's career began with an appearance in a soft-core pornographic film called Party at Kitty and Stud's. The film was originally hard core and depicted sexual acts, but the repackaging was censored to have scenes end just before any hard core action would take place. After Stallone's later success the film was re-packaged as The Italian Stallion.

Rocky Balboa has a girlfriend
It turns out Rocky Balboa, the character from the upcoming movie Rocky Balboa, will have a girlfriend in the film. Not only that, but this Rocky Balboa girlfriend will be played by an actress, AND that actress has a name.
Sylvester Stallone's Rocky Balboa character has a new ladylove in the shape of Irish thespian Geraldine Hughes.
The actress, whose one-woman show, Belfast Blues, has been a big hit in New York, will play the aging boxer's girlfriend in Stallone's sixth Rocky movie, Rocky Balboa. Hughes will recreate the role of Little Marie, who appeared briefly in the first Rocky film.
This is great - we can remember when our parents showed us the first Rocky on tape sometime during the 80s and said something like "this is what fine filmmaking is". We responded with something like "why isn't Mr. Rocky having sex with Little Marie though, Mommy?" She got really mad and did the "how do you know what sex is??? Go to your room!" And that's how our parents became alcoholics and died.
