Keira Knightley said her Pride and Prejudice co-star, Matthew Macfadyen, makes her knees go weak as the brooding Mr Darcy.
The star of Pirates of the Caribbean and Love Actually said he has the same handsome ruggedness present in Richard Burton and Alan Rickman.
The 20-year-old actress is thrilled to be starring alongside the English heart-throb, star of BBC drama Spooks, whose rough and ready look is perfect for the role of a sexy country squire.

Keira was born to Will Knightley (also an actor) and Sharman MacDonald (actor-turned-playwright) on the 22nd of March, 1985.
She first asked her parents for an agent at the tender age of three, but they refused, not wanting their daughter to follow them onto the stage. Keira kept at them, and they finally gave in when she was six. However, her parents still had a few tricks up their sleeves. As part of the deal, Keira, who is dyslexic, had to study through the school holidays, and she was only permitted to work on productions if they didn't interfere with her education.
In 1994, at the age of nine, she completed her first movie, starring as Natasha Jordan in Moira Armstrong's 'A Village Affair'. Following this, she played a number of small roles in other productions.

Keira Knightley first came to the attention of genre film fans when she landed a small role in Star Wars: Episode I, playing a handmaiden to Natalie Portman's Queen Amidala. The lovely Londoner recently appeared in the low-budgie smash Bend It Like Beckham, and is currently making her blockbuster debut in Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.
Since the movie is based on a Disney attraction, Keira did a lot of "research" for the film at the theme parks. She says, "I've been about 5 or 6 times. Once when I was 11, that was down in Florida. Then, when I came out here, I just had to do a lot of research with all my friends and my family. We went about a good 5 times, I think. So, yeah, I know it intimately."
