Brad Pitt’s debut film was long buried for good reason. Pitt plays Rick, a young man with a rare skin disorder: exposed to light, he blisters and dies. When he meets beautiful Frances, he exchanges his life for her love.
While the cinematography of Montenegro and surrounding Yugoslavia is picturesque, the pathetic acting, stilted romance and extraneous plot elements diminish this forgettable film.
